It didn’t take long for the Golden Gate Yacht Club to reply to the letter sent by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, the Italian yacht club that presented a challenge for the 33rd America’s Cup.
In a very short letter, Marcus Young, GGYC Commodore, thanked his Italian counterpart and informed him that due to the ongoing litigation concerning this edition of the event, it would be “inappropriate” to comment any further before the litigation is resolved.
In any case, in exactly one week from now, an oral hearing will take place in New York before Justice Kornreich and for sure the Italians can wait that long.
